How do I use Toothpaste Tablets?
Chew one tablet until it forms a paste, brush as normal with a wet toothbrush. We know it’s tempting to swallow, but make sure to spit.
What are the benefits of tablets instead of standard toothpaste?
Toothpaste tablets remove the need for a plastic tube! Our packaging is completely plastic free. They are also travel-friendly, so much easier to pack into your backpack, overnight bag or carry-on luggage as they are waterless and mess-free.
How abrasive is this toothpaste?
Our Whitening Toothpastes have been formulated with sodium bicarbonate to gently whiten the teeth and calcium carbonate to prevent plaque build-up and polish surface stain. They have been determined to have medium abrasivity based on RDA (Relative Dentin Abrasion) score.
What is the ‘Bag’ icon on the pack of pack, and why does this need to go into the bin?
By nature, toothpaste tablets are sensitive to moisture. We have used dri-clay desiccants to safely protect our tablets from any moisture that makes its way into the tins. These are environmentally responsible alternatives to traditional silica gel. They are natural bentonite clay sourced from sustainable mines, packaged in biodegradable FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified kraft paper. The clay can’t be recycled so these need to be thrown into the bin. The kraft paper is biodegradable, and the clay will is returned to the earth in its originally mined state.

Where should I store my tablets?
Store in a cool, dry place below 25ºc. To keep them fresh, keep them in their tins with the lid on at all times.
Is the tin recyclable?
Yes! Our tins and the lids are tinplate and infinitely recyclable!
Are the toothpaste tablets dairy free?
Yes! Our toothpaste tablets contain no dairy.
Are the toothpaste tablets gluten free?
Yes! Our toothpaste tablets contain no gluten.
Are the toothpaste tablets vegan?
Yes! Our toothpaste tablets contain no ingredients that are derived from animals.
Are your products tested on animals?
No, none of our products have been (or ever will be) tested on animals.
Are these tablets safe for children?
Tablets are a choking hazard. We therefore recommend that they are for children aged 6 years and older, and kept out of reach of small children. Parental supervision during use is recommended.
How much fluoride do you use?
We use the industry standard sodium monofluorophosphate at 0.76% w/w (1000 parts per million), proven to support cavity protection and strengthen enamel.
What type of fluoride does ecostore use?
We use sodium monofluorophosphate. It effectively prevents tooth decay, when formulated correctly and used as directed. It strengthens tooth enamel by preventing demineralisation, and enhancing the remineralisation of potential weak spots.
