Midnight Rose Fabric Softener

On February 5th, I received my online shopping order from Ecostore. I bought nine cleaning products in total, and four of them were nearing their expiration date! When I contacted the manufacturer to request replacements with the same products with a longer shelf life, customer service responded as follows:

This is under our clearance item on our website due to nearly expiring. We are unable to replace this one. I am so sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

I have heard back from our Quality team regarding the other red ones; here is their response:

"Our products use 'best before date,' which is different from 'expiration.' These will still be fine to use unless they detect signs of spoilage (normally exhibited by malodor or bad/rotten egg smell and sometimes gassing and bloating of the bottles) or any other physical manifestation such as separation, unusual thinning down, glugginess, or precipitation."

The shampoo The bar, in particular, being solid (and with added preservatives/emollients), has a very good shelf life and is not prone to spoilage. However, for the fabric softener, please check if you see unusual splitting, separation, or if it becomes too gluggy. They can have a sniff to check the odor.
