Ecostore is born in a small Northland ecovillage
1997
Our flagship store opens in Auckland
2002
Cleaning and dish products launched in supermarkets
2003
Our factory, Eco Tech, opens in South Auckland
2004
We launch into Australia, followed by China, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Japan by 2016
2009
We’re voted Most Sustainable Business two years running by the Sustainable Business Network.
2010
Our manufacturing facility is the first in Australasia to be certified as Toitū Net Carbon Zero
2017
We launch our first ever body care products
2018
Our Ultra Sensitive range is approved by Sensitive Choice® as safer for asthma and allergy sufferers.
2020
We launch our Plastic Return Programme and install our first Refill Station into a supermarket
2021-2025
