Bis (Acyloxyethyl) Hydroxyethyl Methylammonium Methosulphate Esterquat

Bis (Acyloxyethyl) Hydroxyethyl Methylammonium Methosulphate Esterquat is definitely one of the longest ingredient names we have! We use this ingredient in our laundry range as a fabric conditioning agent.

The Bis (Acyloxyethyl) Hydroxyethyl Methylammonium Methosulphate Esterquat we use is derived from vegetable feedstock, and typically appears as a pale yellow creamy paste, though it's non-yellowing on clothing. This ingredient is a type of cationic surfactant, which means it has a positive charge and can bind well to negatively charged fabrics or soil. When used in a fabric softener, these properties contribute to good softening and antistatic performance. Like other similar esterquats, this ingredient has excellent biodegradability and low aquatic toxicity.
