Ingredient - Menthol

Menthol is an organic compound that can be created synthetically or from mint and peppermint plants. We use the plant-derived form of this ingredient to add a refreshing flavour to our oral care products.

Menthol is the main constituent of most mint oils and contributes to fortifying cooling mint flavours. Menthol can be produced through a variety of methods, including progressively chiling peppermint oil, which separates and crystallises the menthol. It is used in many topical and oral products as a fragrance or flavour, and for its natural anti-irritant and anaesthetic properties.
