Ingredient - Kaolin
Kaolin is a soft white mineral clay, usually appearing as a white or grayish powder, mined around the world in hot, moist climates. It is primarily made up of the mineral kaolinite, but also contains trace amounts of other minerals including muscovite, quartz, feldspar, and anatase. Kaolin is one of the main components used to produce china and porcelain, its properties make it an effective ceramics binder. It is also used in paper production to improve the surface smoothness of paper.
We use kaolin in our hydrating facial mask for its natural absorbent properties, helping to draw out impurities from oily skin.
