How do I mix your foaming handwash refill concentrate?
Refill your empty, clean ecostore 250ml foaming handwash bottle with 200ml of water, then carefully add the 50ml concentrate. Seal the bottle tight and gently shake it to mix the product. We don’t recommend adding the concentrate first and water second, as this may cause excessive foaming.
I have an existing 425ml ecostore foaming hand wash pump, can I use the 50ml refill with this?
You can use your existing ecostore bottle but can only be filled to 250mls. 50ml of concentrate + 200ml of water.
Can I use the refill for a regular (non-foaming) hand wash pump?
No, the refill can only be used with a foaming pump. Foaming hand wash liquid isn’t compatible with regular hand wash pumps, it won’t dispense properly.
Can I use the 50ml refill in my own hand wash pump?
Yes, if it is a foaming pump and mixed to the right ratios – 50ml of concentrate + 200ml of water.
Do the foaming hand washes contain antibacterial properties?
No, our foaming hand washes do not contain antibacterial properties. But through frequent hand washing with warm water, our foaming hand washes will wash away the bacteria and germs that we may come in contact with daily.
Why has my unopened foaming handwash refill concentrate gone cloudy and thick?
This product should be stored at room temperature. It may cloud and thicken below 15°C, but this will not affect the efficacy of the product. To return it to a clear pourable liquid, simply place the unopened bottle in a warm water bath at 40-45°C or leave it somewhere warm like a hot water cupboard. Gently shake before use.
Is the packaging recyclable?
50ml – Remove the plastic cap from the glass bottle, rinse and recycle. Unfortunately, due to the small size of the plastic cap, it cannot be recycled. The glass bottle is packed in recyclable FSC certified cardboard.
250ml – Remove the pump, rinse, and recycle the bottle. Unfortunately, the mixed materials used within the foaming pump which allow it to foam mean the pump cannot be recycled.

How many refills does the 50ml concentrate make?
The 50ml concentrate makes 1 x 250ml foaming pump.
How does the 50ml refill concentrate reduce plastic by 80%?
Each ecostore foaming pump lasts for another 4.6 refills, so when you reuse the same foaming pump, you can save up to 225g of plastic (that's 80% less!).
