Used with care
Maltol
Maltol is an organic compound found naturally in the bark of the larch tree, in pine needles, chicory, breads, roasted peanuts, roasted barley and in roasted malt - from which it gets its name. It is used as an additive in some foods and personal care products due to its sweet, caramel-like fragrance.
