Isopropyl Alcohol

Isopropyl alcohol is an alcohol with antibacterial properties, usually appearing as a colourless liquid with a sharp musty odor like rubbing alcohol. It is an isomer (same atoms, but in a different arrangement) of propyl alcohol. Isopropyl alcohol is commonly used in household chemical products such as disinfectants, antiseptics and detergents. While care should be taken handling this in its undiluted form, we only use this ingredient at very low concentrations in our Fabric Softener, as a safer alternative to more harmful solvents.
