Juniperus Virginiana (Red Cedar) Wood Extract
The eastern red cedar is an evergreen species of juniper native to eastern North America. Trees grow up to 20 meters tall, have reddish-brown bark and produce small seed cones. Cedar wood is highly aromatic and avoided by moths, making it a popular choice as a moth deterrent. The wood, twigs and leaves can be distilled in order to produce cedar oil, which has applications in medicine, industry and perfumery.
