Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate/Sebacate is an organic compound of polyglycerin-4 (vegetable oil component) mixed with lauric (coconut/palm derived) and sebacic (castor oil derived) acids. It is used as a solubilizer (makes ingredients more soluble in water) and emulsifier (prevents separation of oil and water), and can be found in many skin and personal care products.
